The Art of Jewelry Making
In today’s world of modern technology and machinery there are fewer artists creating superior jewelry by hand. It takes a lifetime to perfect the techniques of fine jewelry making, as it takes any artist a lifetime to perfect his craft.
More than twenty years since his early beginnings as a bench jeweler, Anthony continues to preserve and implement superior techniques of tradition. It may take days, even weeks, to envision an idea and then transform it from a sketch to a finished product. Anthony examines stones for color, quality and vibrancy. After the selection of gems have been made, the best materials to compliment the design are chosen; which may include gold in shades of rose, yellow, green, red, or his personal favorite platinum.
One the design selections have been finalized, Anthony begins the process of hand fabrication.
The platinum or gold is melted and rolled using a rolling mill, or shaped into initial form. All components are then filed, dimensioned and polished to desired specification. The pieces are assembled and then the intricate process of diamond and gemstone setting begins. Before any piece can be considered complete, it is thoroughly scrutinized and inspected to ensure it meets the highest standards.
Each of Anthony's pieces are individually designed and created. No two pieces are identical. The precision in his craftsmanship and unparalleled creativity result in exquisite, one-of-a-kind timeless creations.
